Glamping Pods Wales
Stabal Glamping Pods and Holiday Cottage offers glamping and self catering accommodation in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales. Located near the foot of Cader Idris we are located on the family farm, only a mile from the Cross Foxes Bar Grill and Rooms and 4 miles from the amenities of Dolgellau in North Wales. The accommodation is ideally situated for the Mach Loop, with Cad East a short 30-minute walk away from the pods. We are also located in a designated Dark Skies region, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday or break in Snowdonia.
GLAMPING PODS
Our 2 glamping pods are eco-friendly, built from recycled plastic bottles with power produced by a hydro-electric installation on the nearby stream. Each accommodates up to 2 adults, or 1 adult and 1 child 8 years and over.
Open all year round our pods include

OUTSIDE
You will find a patio with 2 chairs and a table which has glorious views of the surrounding mountains. There is also a fire pit, BBQ, log seats, a private lawned area and space to park your car.
PLEASE NOTE
There is a drop down from the lawn/garden, therefore the property is not suitable for infants and young children.
Due to our rural location WiFi is only available outside the pods – on the patio, lawn and bbq area. Signal strength is fair-good. There is also very good mobile phone & 4G coverage on EE and some coverage on 3.

HOLIDAY COTTAGE
Also located on the family farm our holiday cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. It’s in a perfect location to explore southern Snowdonia and the Cardigan Bay coast.
Carefully converted from an old stable, this refurbished self-catering riverside cottage is open March to December and includes
- Double and Twin bedroom with bed linen and towels
- TV and DVD/CD player

Explore Snowdonia from Stabal! We are in a designated Dark Skies region and 4 miles from Dolgellau
Walkers and ramblers can walk to the peaks of Cader Idris, with access to paths to the summit only a short drive away. The Cambrian Way passes within ½ mile of Stabal. There are 2 lakes within 5 miles for those who enjoy fishing.
Stabal is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and the rest of north and mid Wales. The Talyllyn Steam Railway and the ancient Welsh castle of Castell y Bere are nearby. Other attractions include
