Shepherd’s Rest Campsite and Glamping is based at our family farm near Berwick-upon-Tweed in the picturesque Scottish Borders and border of Northumberland. Our special location is nestled in beautiful countryside, with fantastic open views and dark night skies ideal for stargazing. Our farm is run non-intensively, so you can enjoy seeing the wildlife and our happy farm animals roaming the fields. Yet only fifteen minutes away from some spectacular unspoilt beaches and the local town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed.
Stay in one of our luxury Shepherd’s Huts set in grass meadows where you wake up to glorious views with a soundtrack of bird song and farm animals wandering in the fields beyond. We believe when Glamping at Shepherd’s Rest that your holiday with us is an opportunity to unwind, enjoy the beautiful surrounding and reconnect with them. So we don’t supply Wi-Fi on site (although a 4G signal is available) and in the Shepherd’s Huts we supply a radio but no TV as way of a digital detox. Books, magazines and games are included for you to read or play, so you can have time to relax, unwind or even be inspired!
During your Glamping holiday, you are welcome on the farm to say hello to animals, sheep, pigs and ponies etc. You can also view our newly planted native woodland areas !
We have 3 huts to choose from. Willow sleeps 2 adults (double bed) & 2 children (sofabed), Birch & Rowan have a double bed to sleep 2. In our huts you will find

SHARED ON SITE FACILITIES
Our glamping site has stylish shower and toilet cabins (not composting toilets), sinks and hairdryer facilities. They are always pristinely presented and beautifully decorated.
CAMPING TOO
Stay on our small campsite for Tents and a dedicated area for Campervans & Motorhomes.
We are Open from April-September.

Initial logs and firelighters for stove included, additional supplies available for a small charge
Our Glamping Huts are suitable for 2 adults (“Willow” can also accommodate 2 children on a sofa bed )
