Thistledown Glamping Shepherds Huts Cardigan Bay West Wales
Thistledown Glamping provides a luxurious shepherds hut experience set within a wild meadow in West Wales just 20 minutes from the coast and Cardigan Bay. Our huts are set around a pond that is fed from a spring which then in turn feeds a small water wheel, a very calming place to sit and relax.
For a romantic break for two adults, our hut Wren is beautifully hand crafted with a raised double bed for you to enjoy the view of the pond on lazy mornings. Wren also has a kitchen and seating area with folding table should you want to eat inside. A short stroll away is the private bathroom, that is for your use only. Here you will find a rain shower, toilet and sink, and plenty of space to get ready.
Our larger hut Finch is perfect for couples or for a family break. This surprisingly spacious hut sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children in a raised double bed and a set of unique handcrafted bunk beds with single mattresses, suitable for children aged 4 to 16 years old. Inside the hut there is a kitchen and seating area with a folding table. Outside there is a large decking area with a table and chairs which leads to an enclosed gravelled garden with a fire pit and rustic seating.
A short stroll away is the private bathroom that is for your use only. Here you will find a rain shower, toilet and sink, and plenty of space to get ready.

Wren is adult only accommodation
1 nights stays available in Wren during the winter only (Nov to Feb/March)
All other stays have a 2 night minimum stay and 3 nights during the school holidays
Please note the wood fired hot tubs are not suitable for children under 12
We welcome two well behaved dogs. Finch is more suitable for larger breed dogs. We do not charge for 2 dogs, if they like to sleep on the bed we kindly ask that you bring your own duvet covers and pillowcases
