Choose from Spodnic UFO, Templar Treehouse, Mabel Gypsy Caravan or adults only camping.
We have many walking paths and cycling routes from Melin Mabes and in walking distance is our local pub, The Boars Head which has a great ambiance, friendly staff and hearty pub grub.
SPODNIC UFO CAMPING POD – Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children
Our well insulated luxury dome in half an acre of your own private fenced space includes
- Double bed with merino wool mattress topper and duvet
- All bedding and towels
- Handmade sofa bed that transforms into bunk beds with a curtain fitted for privacy
- TV, DVD
- Fitted heater
- Fully-equipped kitchen is outside (under a covered area) with fridge, full electric cooker, hot and cold running water, utensils and ample workspace
- Dining table and comfy cushioned wicker chairs

OUTSIDE you will find
- Hot Tub with adjacent outdoor shower, located right next to Spodnic for your sole use
- The TARDIS contains your Washing facilities include shower, toilet and hand sink for own private use
TEMPLAR TREEHOUSE – Sleeps 2 Adults and 2 children
Nestled deep in our hidden water mill valley, an invisible treehouse awaits you. Made from recycled and re-used treasures the treehouse is situated in its own private mill garden with pond with rowing boat, (life jackets available and children must be closely supervised at all times) and a riverwalk so your bring wellies!
The treehouse is furnished with wooden floors and full length windows giving you excellent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and includes
- Two comfy leather armchairs
- Wood-burning stove
- Double bed with merino wool bedding
- Kitchenette with tiled under-floor heating, antique Hygena kitchen unit with fine bone china, cocktail glasses, shaker, recipe books, cutlery, microwave, mini oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and kitchen sink

- Private bathroom is tiled with under-floor heating and kitted out with a toilet, sink and a shower room with electric towel radiator
- Climb up the small ladder to a mezzanine with sloping roof and two small single mattresses , full length triangle windows for the best bat-watching views (this room is suitable for small children only as it has restricted headroom)
- Up the rustic stairs leads you to a triangular balcony where you can enjoy the views. Heading out? Why not take the slide for a quicker route down!
- Buck the reindeer serenades you a welcome and tell a joke or two, then you can get the microphone out and sing karaoke with him
- Numerous books and board games are provided as are all toiletries, towels, robes and a few surprises!
OUTSIDE you will find
- Fully-equipped kitchen outside (under a covered area) with a fire pit BBQ
- Stone circle with fire pit and for cosy evenings toasting marshmallows

MABEL GYPSY CARAVAN – Sleeps 2 people
Our charming quirky Mabel gypsy caravan is 150 years old.
Inside you will find
- Comfortable raised double bed with luxury wool bedding
- All bed linen, towels and bath mats
- Two comfortable cushioned seats
- Queenie wood burning stove (free wood on your first night provided)
- Electricity throughout including a fixed electric radiator for chilly evenings
- Retractable stargazing roof over hot tub for your private use located right next to Mabel
OUTSIDE you will find
- A private kitchen area, well covered and equipped with a gas hob and a double sink
- Fabulous pizza oven and you can order pizza dough as an optional extra to make your own delicious homemade pizzas for Mabel’s guests
- Washing facilities include adjacent shower, toilet and hand sink for own private use

CAMPING
We also offer adults only Camping exclusively available to the members of the Caravan & Camping club from April to November.
We don’t accept large group bookings and aim to keep the campsite peaceful for your enjoyment.
