Glamping Warwickshire
Coplow Woodland Retreat consists of three beautifully handcrafted woodland cabins nestled away in a secluded Warwickshire woodland, offering a tranquil glamping experience for couples, families and dog owners. Expect all the creature comforts you could possibly need, including a well-equipped kitchenette, usb electric and a cosy log-burning stove, making it an ideal destination all year round. Offering fantastic walks right from your door including a scenic walk to a local village and cosy pubs.
ACCOMMODATION
THE CABINS:
Each cabin can sleep up to two adults and two children and are set around 40 meters apart from each other but are totally private, with shared facilities separating the two. Each bolthole features a cosy open-plan interior, which is kept warm all year round by a wood-burning stove. Inside you’ll find a comfy double bed with super soft bedding and a sumptuous sofa that converts into an additional bed, suitable for up to two children. A travel cot can be provided on request. At the far end is the kitchenette, well-equipped with a gas hob, terracotta fridge, pots and pans and cooking utensils. Crockery, cutlery and glassware is also included for up to four people to dine together.
Outside each cabin is a spacious, decked terrace, a wonderful place to soak up the surroundings. Down from the terrace, you’ll find a fire pit area with a hanging tripod BBQ, ideal for grilling up dinner alfresco style. The shared facilities are a few steps away. They consist of a hot shower and sink cabin (eco-friendly toiletries and cleaning products are provided) and a compost toilet.
SHEPHERDS HUT (BEECH HUT):
Cute little shepherds hut nestled in it’s own private section of the woods which has been sympathetically fenced off for additional privacy. Whilst it doesn’t come with the same floor space as our two cabins it does boast it’s own shower and compost toilet huts, making it an ideal escape for two adults. It comes with a super comfy double bed, mini kitchenette including 2 gas hobs, wood burning stove, terracotta fridge pot for keeping items cool, grassed private outdoor area, including swing seat, fire pit and hanging tripod bbq.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Everything you could need for a relaxing stay is included in all units, and whilst they are are off-grid, there are solar-powered USB plugs for charging phones and small devices. There is no WiFi, however there is a good 4G connection.
Guests are free to explore the whole woodland site, which features a mini retro play area including climbing rope and rope swing, we also provide activities for children to do around the woodland within our Welcome Folder. There are also some fantastic local walks, one scenic hour-long stroll to the local village of Barford and its two cosy pubs, and one shorter walk down to the River Avon, a great spot to have a picnic.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The nearest train stations are Warwick and Leamington Spa, both around a ten-minute drive away (taxis & Ubers are available in the area).
The whole site can be booked for a magical holiday for groups of up to ten. The secluded, tranquil location is perfect for escaping the stress of modern life, switching off and reconnecting with nature and your loved ones.
There are additional extras available to make your stay extra special, including a ‘Celebration Package’ with Organic prosecco and the ‘Honeymoon package’, where you can arrive to a bottle of Moet, artisan chocolates and roses on your bed.
LOCAL AREA
We provide an extensive Welcome Folder in each unit, which is updated seasonally with local events and things to do in the area:
– 1 hour scenic walk to Barford Village and it’s two village pubs and village shop
– Warwick Castle is just a 7 minute drive away.
– Market towns Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick are all within a short driving distance.
