Glamping Wales
We offer two glamping experience’s The Boat House and The Shepherds Cwtch close to stunning coastline in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Both are romantic private getaways for couples with stunning views over the lake, picturesque hills and the Brechfa forest above.
At Field of Dreams there is lots of local wildlife to enjoy including red kites, woodpeckers, herons, egrets and wild rabbits. There is also a duck which regularly visits the lake and we have also seen a peregrine falcon. There are plenty of great walks and cycling directly from the site plus local shops but the towns of Lampeter and Carmarthen are also close by. The coast is a scenic twenty five minute drive away and there are lots of beautiful beaches and coves to explore.
THE BOAT HOUSE
This romantic retreat sleeps 2 set on it’s own lake with a large outside deck, camp kitchen and extra large hot tub. Double glazed with double doors opening onto the deck directly overlooking the lake, guests will have exclusive access to the lake area and share the communal facilities. The Boat House has a vaulted roof with a large feature chandelier. It’s spacious yet cosy and enjoys stunning views even whilst lying in bed. It has everything you need for basic food preparation and cooking, plus an outdoor camp kitchen and BBQ area.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome but they must be secured at The Boat House at all times and on leads when moving about the site. Pets must never be left alone onsite (small fees apply).
SHEPHERDS CWTCH GLAMPING
The Shepherds Cwtch, our second romantic retreat sleeping 2 also overlooks the lake with an outside deck, camp kitchen and field shelter with seating. It is fully insulated and has double-glazing with a central stable door directly overlooking the lake. Guests will have exclusive access to the attached ‘Field Shelter’ area and can also share the communal facilities.
The Shepherds Cwtch is really cosy and well appointed plus enjoys stunning views. It has everything you need for basic food preparation and cooking, plus an outdoor camp kitchen and BBQ area.

LOCAL AREA
We are located close to the village of Pencader about a 20 minute drive north of Carmarthen and 20 minutes south of Lampeter. The coast town of New Quay is a scenic 25 minute drive from our glamping site. You can also explore the Brechfa forest directly from our doorstep.
There is so much to see and do. The West Wales coastline is stunning. We have prehistoric monuments, National Trust Properties, beautiful forest walks and cycling tracks plus some cracking pubs and dining out options.
We are happy to advise on the best places to visit to avoid the crowds and explore the beauty Wales has to offer such as the stunning coastal path!
