Glamping East Yorkshire
Our small but perfectly formed glamping site at Wassand Croft in Seaton East Yorkshire is nestled in a rural setting only 3 miles from the coast. We have 3 individually themed bell tents in a peaceful acre of our 10 acre field. Book 1 or book all 3 and have the place to yourselves! Why not experience a nature filled, digital detox with your family and friends? Plenty of space to enjoy some field games or kick back and relax. If you enjoy the outdoors and being under canvas, whilst at the same time, like the added luxury of king sized beds, memory foam mattresses and beautifully decorated surroundings, then this is the place for you!
Unwind or be adventurous and discover what the East Riding has to offer. Bring your bikes to explore the many cycle routes or hire an eBike for delivery to the site, there’s plenty to see and keep you entertained as well as lots of eateries close by if you fancy eating out.
OUR ETHOS
The environment and our surroundings are very important to us and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do. In 2023 we teamed up with Humber Forests to plant a woodland and together with our own saplings, we’ve planted around 3000 trees so far. We’ve also started a small flower farm, sown wild flower meadow strips and planted a small orchard.
Protecting the wildlife and flora is something we are passionate about and to reduce the impact on our surroundings, the waste water from your showers and washing up, soaks away into the landscape to help water the trees. Subsequently, we provide you with environmentally friendly shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, washing up liquid and hand wash, free of charge with your stay. We’re sure you’ll love it and all ingredients can be found on your welcome card on arrival.
THE BELL TENTS with Private Facilities
As we have just 3 tents, you have plenty of space on and surrounding your pitch providing a luxury escape in nature! Each 5 metre tent sits on a 10 metre deck and is individually themed and sleeps up to a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and includes
- King-size bedstead
- Camp-beds will be provided for children (if required please advise when booking)
- Your own Toilet
- Your own Shower
- Your own Kitchen with gas stove including all crockery, cutlery, BBQ utensils, cool box etc.
- Deck chairs
- Picnic bench
- Fire-pit/BBQ
- Tea towels
- Shower gel, Shampoo/conditioner, washing up liquid and hand-sanitiser/hand wash

- Hot water bottles and extra blankets for cosy nights under the stars

WHAT TO BRING
We have tried to provide everything you need for a luxury glamping experience, however, please bring your own towels, any bedding for your children’s camp beds, maybe an extra torch and your food of course.
GLAMPING SITE FACILITIES
We are off-grid, which means you can totally escape the daily trappings and unwind. We do however, provide
- The ‘Sprucing Shed’ where you can plug in your hairdryer/straighteners if you want to
- Our retired ‘Horse-Box’ is our small shop stocking essentials such as milk, logs, firelighters, sweets and ‘s’mores’ as a treat for your nights around the campfire (and a local convenience store is only a short walk away)
- A small selection of board games for you to borrow as well as some field games
- Trollies to help you move your things. To minimise impact on the grass, there’s a short walk from the car parking area to your tent

PRICES
From £75 per night in low season/mid week. Only £170 for a 2 night stay in July or August for a family of 4!
Although we do love dogs, we’re sorry but we cannot accept them onto the site due to the abundance of local wildlife and the sheep and lambs in neighbouring fields.
