Glamping Cornwall
Situated on the Rame Peninsula in SE Cornwall, surrounded by beautiful countryside and coast, the site is accessed via a country lane and the three glamping tents are nestled in a secluded and sheltered field behind Higher Tregantle Farm, with far reaching views, across the fields, to the seven mile sandy arc of Whitsand Bay. The area is a walkers paradise, with many picturesque tracks nearby encompassing the twin fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand; the Mount Edgcumbe estate and Rame Head. Children will delight in the surrounding beaches, with plenty of opportunities for rock pooling, surfing and paddleboarding.
A daily passenger ferry runs from nearby Cremyll, across the short expanse of water to the Royal William Yard, an historical ex-naval victualling yard, now home to fabulous eateries and stunning buildings, and another seasonal foot passenger ferry runs from Cawsand village over to the Barbican at Plymouth.

THE BELL TENTS
Wake up refreshed and – after feasting on the organic, locally sourced contents of your delicious breakfast hamper- you’ll be set for a day of exploring hidden coves, characterful fishing villages, enjoying long sandy beaches, or visiting one of the many attractions that this beautiful ‘forgotten corner’ of Cornwall has to offer.
With each bell tent featuring super comfy beds with sprung mattresses and sumptuous linens, you’re guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep as you drift off to the blissful sounds of nature and the melody of distant waves lapping onto the shore.
The accommodation has been carefully designed with warmth, comfort, style and attention to detail in mind, with co-ordinated soft furnishings, beautifully upcycled furniture; solar powered lighting and interiors designed by a local stylist.
Our Third tent “ Ebb & Flow” sleeps 4 (x1 king size and x2 singles) has the exclusive use of an outdoor kitchen equipment with camp fridge gas stove top and sink.
The element of relaxation extends outside with your own private decked area, surrounded by sub-tropical palms and the twinkle of fairy lights, simply perfect for a spot of star gazing up at the soft, Cornish night sky, as you warm yourself by the glowing embers of the fire pit.
A spacious and well equipped communal cooking area (shared between the occupants of two of the three tents) is provided on-site in addition to stylish eco showers and toilets.
FACILITIES
There’s a large indoor shower room with a chemical and a compost toilet as well as an outdoor shower room with shower sink compost toilet and an area available to hang up wetsuits.
Each tent also has a clothes horse available to them.

The spacious glampsite is sheltered by hedges either side to give protection from the coastal elements. The glampsite could be entirely yours for your stay should you wish to come as a family and friends unit (hiring all three bell tents) at a pre discussed discount depending on bookings.

WHAT TO EXPECT
I will be here to greet you and provide you with an information pack, show you around and answer any questions you may have, there will be a sweet or savoury complimentary treat to welcome you when you arrive.
The farmhouse is but a 5 minute walk away from the gIampsite and I will be as available to you as often as you wish.
WhatsApp contact details will be provided for you prior to your arrival so we can discuss any needs such as food allergies, directions or anything else you may need to ensure you enjoy a fun, comfortable and peaceful experience at Higher Tregantle farm eco glampsite.
I will arrange to meet you, show you around and provide you with an information pack and answer any questions you may have on your arrival.
GETTING AROUND
The site is relatively remote and we would suggest that opportunities for exploring are better with a car. However, there is a limited bus service that links the area and there are easily accessible footpaths around the peninsula, close to the glampsite.
There is also a cycle hire company less than 1 mile away should you wish to travel by bicycle.

Tent prices: all inclusive of a complimentary breakfast
Rame – 2 people -£100 per night
Cornish Vibes – up to 4 person -£120 per night
Ebb & Flow with exclusive use outdoor kitchen – sleeps up to 4 persons – £140 per night
* bookings for the week are Saturday-Saturday, minimum two night stays.

The site is unsuitable for the under 5s. We can accommodation children of 5 years and up only
Logs for fire pit can be bought @ £5 per bag.
