There are now 9 Bell tents available, up from only 2 over the past few years and we are offering a luxury version and a standard option of 4m, 5m and 6m Bells.
We are using this time to plant up new hedges around our the field, we have planted some oaks which we grew from acorns and hope the pesky deer will keep their noses off them. The grass is growing and thankfully the ground is now drying out after the wettest winter any one can remember.
The wild life in the New Forest this time of year is wonderful. We have Blue tits, Robins, Blackbirds all nesting in the hedges and our local woodpeckers are knocking away furiously, our resident Tawny Owl has made an appearance and the Barn Swallows and Skylarks are over head.
The new Forest ponies and donkeys are foraging, waiting for spring to come and with it will come their foals which is such a special time in the Forest.
